Project Highlights
Scope of Project: Front and rear restoration project. Front façade restoration included 100% removal of marble skin and decorative elements to perform structural repairs and installation of new stainless steel anchors as a result of extensive probing and evaluation. Rear façade restoration included fire escape and new window flashings.
FSI's Involvement: FSI coordinated the test probing and inspected the premises identifying areas of deterioration and previously poorly performed repairs in all facades. Subsequently, FSI prepared a new scope of facade and cornice restoration that included the repair of damaged stones and their anchoring system throughout the facade. In addition, FSI also planned and coordinated cornice replication, a number of repairs to the fire escape and painting of the cast iron columns and windows.
